:: Next month the Awakening Youth Group will take a retreat to Acquire the Fire in Atlanta on February 17th and 18th and return on the 19th. The deadline to register for this event is February 1st in order to ensure hotel accommodations and admission to the conference. The permission slip and deposit of $50 will be due on this day. We would like to thank everyone for your support in making this retreat possible for our youth to attend.
:: The Women of Vision’s next monthly meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 6th at 7pm in the FLC. The next women in the Bible we will begin to examine are Naomi and Ruth. Women planning to attend are asked to bring in their favorite type of salad to share with others. If you are planning to attend please signup in the foyer. ALSO…Don’t forget to get your Quarter Fundraiser Cards filled up and turned in by February 26th!
:: The Women of Vision will be selling spaghetti dinners once a month on Wednesday nights for $6.00. The dinners will include spaghetti, corn, Texas toast, and cake. Drinks will be $1.00 extra. February's dinner will be served on February 8th at 5:30 in the FLC. Tickets are available for purchase now. All proceeds will go towards the women's ministry.
:: The Men of Vision will begin meeting again with our new men’s minister, Brother Kevin White. Our first meeting for the year will be February 21st at 7pm in the FLC. We will be studying about what God says to really be M.E.N. Please join us as we kick off this exciting new season of our men’s ministry!
:: If you are planning on going with the women’s ministry to the Holy Land Experience on March 17. Full or half payment is due by Sunday, February 5th (No Exceptions). The FINAL payment is due by February 19th. All payments are for required advanced purchase of the HLE tickets and transportation and are non refundable. Please see Sister Veronica or Sister Jeannie in the church foyer today to make your payment for the trip.
